Salt + Light Co-Op

Matthew 5:14-16 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Salt + Light Co-op was birthed out of a desire to create a space to teach children to live confident and bold for Christ. We believe the early years are for building a foundation of faith that will help them to be the salt and light of the world, not hidden, but shining God’s love and peace within the world.

Fridays: 8:30am-1:00pm   

Grades:  K – 5th  (Students must be at least 5 yrs old by Sept 10th)


First Semester:       Sep 10th  – Dec 10th     (Thanksgiving Break on 11/26)

Second Semester:    Jan 7th    May 13th     (Spring Break on 3/11)

Informational/Registration Meetings: 

Informational Meetings will be on:  Monday Aug 2, 2021 and Monday Aug 23, 2021. 

They will be held at Rock City Church at 7pm.  

Students will be registered at these meetings but parents may attend a meeting and register at a later time.

If parents are unable to attend one of these meetings but want to join the Co-op, they need to contact Dionne Buentello to get information, make payment, get registration packet, and turn in forms. 


Co-op begins on Friday September 10th, 2021.  


  • Facility / Administration / Supplies  Fee: $150 per student per semester      
  • Field Trip Fees: Cost of any field trips will be the responsibility of each family. No fee is collected by the Co-op for field trips. 


All fees will be due by August 23rd unless prior arrangements have been made. Fees are non-refundable after September 6th.
